I assume this is normal behavior, but I want to understand if this is how I should approach this. In the recovery media tool, it shows both partitions totaling the ~5.5TB. I did so, using the external drive, and found it added a 1GB partition and reduced the drive to 1.99TB. I just got Veeam's free Windows tool installed and was prompted to create a Veeam recovery media. I have watched videos and read documents but they all seem to point towards more complex environments and concerns. This seems to be a good bit outside of my knowledge, so I am hoping this community can answer what I believe to be easy questions for experienced users. I am looking for some base level guidance.

I suggest to analyze the scripts and modify them to your needs before running it in production.īelow is a list of parameters you will have to change based upon the script you want to use.Hey everyone, I am setting up an external 6TB drive for backup of my entire machine, as well as direct storage/ingestion of photos and videos. Example 3: Publish ALL backup data for EVERY virtual machine in a backup (this mounts all the data for every restore point available)ĭisclaimer: The scripts provided are based upon testing with Veeam Backup & Replication v10 GA in a lab-based environment.Example 2: Publish backup data for EVERY virtual machine using the LAST restore point in a backup.
